Camp has been one of the biggest blessings in my life and I am so looking forward to expressing so much love, sisterhood, joy and growth in respecting each other and ourselves! Camp is such an incredible opportunity to reflect on what we are grateful for and develop a better understanding of how to express God’s abundant Love! So excited to meet you all!

This will be my 4th summer on staff and I am very excited to be back at Bow-Isle. My favourite camp activities are 3 sticks, Wednesday testimony meetings, and GAGA ball. My favourite duties are biffies and the gronk sinks. My all-time favourite things about camp are the amazing food and the love everyone shares so openly with one another. I look forward to seeing you all this summer and welcoming you to Camp Bow-Isle!
Holland (Rachel)- Counselor (Junior Girls)
Hello! I am such a fan of Camp Bow Isle and can’t imagine a better place to have spent the majority of my summers growing up. Working at camp turned out to be even more fun than attending! I live in NYC and dance professionally with American Ballet Theater which performs all over the world. Being from Oregon, I get excited for every opportunity to spend time in the Pacific Northwest. I love art (especially the performing arts), being outdoors, learning new things and people – I love meeting new people and getting to know others better. I am an active member of my branch church and enjoy teaching Sunday school and working in the reading room. Being at camp gives me a unique opportunity to be in a community connected by a love of Christian Science and the outdoors. It’s a special chance to witness and support others as they grow in their understanding of God as Love and their ability to express that love. I have experienced this growth every time I’ve been at camp and am so grateful for the blessings it brings.

Perrin – Counselor-In-Training (CIT)
Hi, I’m Perrin and I’m from Atlanta, GA. I love to play softball, hike with my dogs, and spend time at my family’s house up in Michigan, where I jet-ski, water ski, and just do all things related to the outdoors. This summer, I’m looking forward to meeting new people, trying out new activities, and just being at beautiful Camp Bow-Isle. I can’t wait to meet everyone and make the most of the summer!
Aly – Counselor-In-Training (CIT)
I am excited to have the opportunity to spend my first summer at Bow-Isle and experience this special place I have heard so many wonderful things about. I am 17, going into my senior year of highschool. I have three dogs, and two younger brothers who I love hanging out with. I have spent the past six summers either in the mountaineering programs at Adventure Unlimited or adventuring with my National Leadership on the Appalachian Trail and in Ecuador for a service trip. I absolutely love anything adventurous in the outdoors, and have found that to be where I feel most at home. One of my favorite definitions in Mrs. Eddy’s glossary is wilderness where she writes that it is a “vestibule in which a material sense of things disappears”(597:16), something that has lead me in my spiritual growth and through challenging experiences. I love to spend my time outside of school playing tennis, volunteering, and running. My mom and I have been running half marathons since I was in eighth grade and I have a goal to run one in every state before I graduate, something that has pushed me and helped me learn how to rely on Christian Science more. In everything I do, I strive to make Christian Science the center of my focus, always helping make my experiences harmonious. I am so excited to have fun this summer at Bow-Isle and meet all of the campers!
