2021 Summer Sessions
A message from the Directors
At this time more than ever, we see the value and necessity for Bow-Isle’s activities that nurture a higher love for God and man in campers, families, and our staff. We are hopeful and committed to doing all we can to have our regular camp sessions in 2021. Apply now to save your spot! No deposit required. As summer approaches, we may need to adjust our sessions to abide by local and federal laws. Any changes will be communicated here on our website.

JUNIORS (ages 8-14)
Junior Girls: June 20 – July 3 | Junior Boys: July 18 – July 31
For two weeks, as a junior camper you get to play games, hike, swim, and develop a handful of outdoor skills, including canoeing, archery, rock climbing, camp fire building, and backpacking. Some days you will dress up like a pirate to chase down cargo through camp, or even better, become a caveman or woman to participate in the cave olympics. Everyday brings new opportunities to challenge yourself and try something new within a supportive and loving environment.
SENIORS (ages 13-17)
Senior Girls: July 4 – 17 | Senior Boys: August 1 – 14
In the senior sessions, the junior fun is taken to the next level. Your first week is spent learning to trust God and each other while exploring the ropes course, playing camp games, and learning new skills. In the second week you get to go on a three-day trip into the Canadian wilderness to backpack, surf, or sea kayak. This outtrip ends with an exciting outdoor activity, like white water rafting, horseback riding, ziplining, or mountain biking. Through our adventures together, we learn about the value of spiritual womanhood and manhood.
SENIOR SKILLS WEEK (ages 13-17)
Senior Girls: June 27 – July 3 | Senior Boys: July 25 – 31
During our skills program, you join a handful of peers and expert staff for a week of learning, exploration, and guided practice in one or two skill sets. Skill combinations include cooking/mountain biking, map reading/sailing, photography/surfing, and woodworking/horseback riding. Contact us to learn about the skills offered this summer. You do not want to miss it!
Family Camp 1: June 7 – 12 | Family Camp 2: August 16 – 21
At Camp Bow-Isle, we are one big family! Singles, couples, and families of all sizes and ages are welcome. During the six-day session you can try archery, canoeing, hiking, camp-wide games, crafts, rock climbing, swimming, and the ropes course. You are welcome to participate in every activity, or to make your own plan and enjoy the great food and company. Childcare is provided for a portion of each day, giving parents time to do something on their own. Family camp is a wonderful way to share the joy of camp and Christian Science with your family and friends.
Women’s Weekend: May 28 – 30 | Men’s Weekend: September 10 – 12
Our weekend retreats give adult Christian Scientists the opportunity to connect with friends while participating in various camp activities. These programs can include inspirational talks, great food, games, art projects, hikes, and wonderful company. You can stay with us on camp property or at a nearby Bowen Island B&B. We can’t wait to welcome you!
Spring Work Party: May 21 – 23
60th Reunion: August 21 – 22
We would love to have you, your friends, and family join us for the work party and 60th reunion. Stay tuned for more information regarding both of these weekend events.
