Jon and KarinWe’re excited to be preparing for our 21st summer here at Camp Bow-Isle, and we look forward to welcoming all the campers and staff to beautiful Bowen Island for youth sessions and family camp. After this summer, we will be moving to St. Louis to be closer to our children who are attending Principia.

It is not easy to contemplate leaving this corner of paradise where we have made so many friends in both the camp community and on Bowen Island. We LOVE Camp Bow-Isle and know that it is blessing the world. When we arrived here, our desire was to give. As it turns out, we have received far more from our experience here. We’re so grateful to have had the opportunity to meet so many of you, include your children in our camp family, and to help camp spread its wings and fly on its own. We know it is in good hands with a strong board of directors, and we wish it the greatest success as it blesses all those who visit for a day, for a summer, or for many years.

Mary Baker Eddy tells us on page 58 of Science & Health, “Home is the dearest spot on earth, and it should be the centre, though not the boundary, of the affections.” We are so grateful for the sense of home that Camp Bow-Isle has provided, and will continue to provide all those who come up the driveway.

We hope you’ll join us as we prepare for our greatest summer ever!
