Family and Adult Camp at Camp Bow-Isle is the perfect opportunity for you and your family to spend time in a caring, supportive environment surrounded by other Christian Scientists and plenty of fun activities. Individuals and seniors are always welcome.
For family camp II in August, please note:
Family Camp II is full! Please accept our apologies for the overwhelming amount of enthusiasm for Camp Bow-Isle’s Family Camp. We will consider small groups and/or individuals on a case by case basis if we have a spot available. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org if you’re interested in finding out if there might be space available for you in Family Camp II. Remember, there’s still plenty of space available for Family Camp I in June, and we also have staff positions available.
Scheduled activities in either of the 6-day sessions may include archery, canoeing, hiking, games, crafts, swimming, a trampoline, zipline and ropes course. Sea kayaking, motor boating and sailing can also be arranged. Parents can participate with their children, or sign their children up for the children’s program, which runs each day. The schedule is very flexible, and families may choose to simply spend a day or two on their own, exploring Bowen Island’s many beautiful features and charming Snug Cove.
At Family Camp, children and parents alike will make new friends and demonstrate God’s guidance and ever-present care each day.
I really appreciated being able to just totally relax, be myself and not worry about fitting in. Family Camp really is about ONE family all working together, supporting one another and cherishing the individual expression of God’s creation. And as a result, it’s consistently obvious that there is a significant amount of deep metaphysical support that goes on behind the scenes at Camp Bow-Isle.— Family Camp Parent
