Bow-Isle Outdoor Centre
The primary mission of the Bow-Isle Outdoor Centre is to foster character and community development through recreational activities and outdoor skills.
Throughout the 60 years Camp Bow-Isle has operated as a summer camp for Christian Scientists, BIOC has also welcomed local schools and community groups to learn and play in our backyard.
Located in the center of Nex̱wlélex̱wm (Bowen Island) just a short ferry ride from Horseshoe Bay, it might just be the perfect place for you and your group to come together both physically and mentally. Let the twenty-minute ferry ride take you away from the bustle of your daily routine to an outdoor experience you’ll never forget.
Our outdoor centre operates in the Spring and Fall, welcoming groups interested in recreational activities and education outside the classroom. With over 200 acres of trees, trails, a high ropes course, rock climbing tower, a large field, and lake, we are ready to welcome your group for a fun learning experience!
Our facilities are also available for rent from September until May, accommodating large and small groups. To learn more, check out our facility rentals’ page.
