This year, Camp Bow-Isle will be hosting a Women’s Weekend June 1-3, 2018, where you will enjoy delicious camp meals, connecting with camp friends new and old, inspirational talk, hiking, church service, camp activities, and adventure! You’ll have the option to either stay on camp property or at a suggested Bowen Island B&B if you’d like a less rustic experience.
Our time together will be full of inspiration and activity, and we hope you leave the weekend feeling spiritually refreshed and connected to other uplifted women. Our Christian Science church service and Bible lesson study time will be optional but encouraged; our goal is to provide an inclusive, welcoming atmosphere for all.
Please let us know if you are currently practicing Christian Science, or whether you’ll be attending with a friend/relative who invited you to the weekend. This will help us ensure we cater our opening inspirational talk to our whole audience.
Please note that as it is early June, you will want to bring a warm sleeping bag and perhaps an extra blanket if you are in a bunk cabin. We will do our best to accommodate everyone on a lower bunk.
Should you wish to book your own accommodation (not included in registration fee) on Bowen Island, you are welcome to do so. We hope you’ll still join us for all meals and activities at camp! Please click here for a list of are some of our local island Bed and Breakfasts.
In early April, you'll receive more details about the weekend, including a more detailed schedule, arrival and departure information, the title for our opening inspirational talk, and a packing list. For now, please plan to join us for our welcome dinner on Friday, June 1st, and to stay through lunch on Sunday, June 3rd.
The Women's Weekend registration fee is $175.00 USD ($200.00 CDN). Payment is not required to submit your registration, but please remit in full no later than June 1.
